Happy Local Quilt Shop Day!

Did you know that today (Saturday, January 26, 2019) is Local Quilt Shop Day?  This celebration of local quilt shops happens annually on the fourth Saturday of January.  I live in a large metro area and am fortunate to have several shops within an hour's drive. I visited one of my two local favorites today.  Quilt Patch Fabrics is in Stallings, NC with a good selection and friendly staff. I picked up these beauties:


All three are pink batiks by Island Batiks.  I have a plan for them in the near future!
