Christmas Tree Farm

I loved the Christmas Tree Farm block by April of JANDA Bend Quilts so much that I expanded the original block and turned it into decoration.  It's now hanging on my front door.


I just love these trees!  Each one is a different green scrap.  The background is Kona Snow.  April gave instructions for traditional piecing or paper piecing.  I combined them!  I paper pieced the greens of the greens and traditional pieced the rest, including all the trunks.  Here it is on my front door:



Tree Farm was project number #1 on my list of Q4 goals for the globally hosted finish along.
