April was the first month that I did not complete my One Monthly Goal, the great motivator supported by Heidi at Red Letter Quilts. I have a few things that I hope to finish in May, but I'm going to pick an official goal that might otherwise fall off the radar.
I really liked the heart block picked by my hive's queen in February for the Stash Bee. So much so that after I made 3 blocks for the queen, I made 4 for me and turned them into a mini!
It's just a top right now, so my May goal is get it layered, quilted, and bound.
Don't feel bad, my March OMG was a flop for me. Come to think of it I still need to finish it. I don't think I would have been able to resist that cute heart block either. It made a very cute mini.
ReplyDeleteThe little heart quilt looks great!
ReplyDeleteIt's always disappointing to miss a target isn't it? I missed out in Jen's challenge at Quilter in the Closet recently too. The main thing is to put it behind you and make sure you hit the next one. I haven't done OMG before but have linked up for this month. Like many others I need a motivator.

Some months are just tough, right? I will probably be repeating my May goal in June. I figure as long a sI make progress!
